11In July of 2010, Rushi & Varun did a 3 day 2 night backpacking trip at Big Basin Redwoods State Park in California. The theme of this trip was Primitive. As such we went with an ultralight setup, carrying only small backpacks, a piece of tarp & paracord for shelter, making fire & cooking meals using primitive fire-starting methods. (We brought a lightweight stove too, since it was our first attempt at this.) It was not a particularly difficult trip, but it served to build our wilderness craft skills & took us through the gorgeous Redwood Forest of California. Check out the album!
