In December of 2012, Varun decided to do some snowshoeing in Yosemite during the wintertime. Though not a mountain climb, he was able to get some good pictures of a winter wonderland. On the 1st day he hiked Mariposa Grove in winter, which was a solitary & majestic experience in the snow without the usual crowds of people. He slept at Curry Village for the night, before venturing out to the Crane Flats Lookout on Day 2. Varun had never seen driven snow as pure & crystalline as he did here. Both days offered unforgettable experiences, and we hope that you are able to experience a part of it through the albums.
