I apologize for the lack of pictures today, I was not in much of a mood to take photos given the grey skies and the fact that we’d seen this terrain before. Luckily it had stopped snowing and warmed up a bit so today was easier than our carry day. We’re getting close – our summit attempt begins early AM tomorrow so many of us are getting the jitters. Summit day will by far be the hardest day of the climb, and let me tell you – it ain’t been easy. Every day has been challenging, and tomorrow will be the most elevation gain to date – 3,300 ft (1,000 m), starting at an elevation that’s higher than most of us have ever been to and climbing to a height that is surpassed by only one region in the world – the Himalayas. I think we have it in us, but tomorrow is going to test our limits! We’ll be woken up between 3-4 AM tomorrow so we’re sleeping early tonight, though I imagine most of us will have a hard time sleeping due to the altitude, and anticipation.
